What We Do

Fine finish carpentry,
tailored to your vision

From a single shelf to a full kitchen renovation, we bring the same attention to detail to every project — because the difference between good and exceptional is in the details.

Custom Cabinetry

Kitchen, bath, and storage cabinets built to your exact dimensions and style — from traditional raised panels to clean modern lines.

Built-ins & Shelving

Bookshelves, entertainment centers, window seats, and wall units designed to maximize your space and complement your home's architecture.

Trim & Molding

Crown molding, baseboards, wainscoting, chair rails, and custom profile work that frames your rooms with quiet elegance.

Door & Window Trim

Interior and exterior door casings, window surrounds, and decorative architraves installed with precision and care.

Deck & Outdoor

Decks, pergolas, fences, and exterior trim built to withstand California weather while looking exceptional.

Restoration & Repair

Restore damaged trim, repair warped cabinets, or resurrect period details — we bring old craftsmanship back to life.

How It Works

From idea to
installation

We keep it simple: you describe what you envision, we handle the rest — from the first sketch to the final coat of finish. No surprises, no jargon, just honest craftsmanship.

1

Consultation

We meet at your home, discuss your vision, take measurements, and understand how you want the space to feel and function.

2

Design & Estimate

We draft a plan, recommend materials and finishes, and provide a clear, honest estimate — no hidden costs or change-order games.

3

Build & Finish

Your project is cut, assembled, and finished in our shop — or on-site when the work demands it. Every joint checked, every edge sanded smooth.

4

Install & Inspect

We install with care, clean up completely, and walk through the result with you — making sure every detail meets our standard and yours.

About Us

Built on the belief
that details matter

Marcellini Fine Finish Carpentry is rooted in Marina, California, and has been serving the Monterey Bay Area for over a decade. What started as a one-person operation — a table saw, a belief in doing things right, and a refusal to cut corners — has grown into a trusted name for homeowners who expect more from their tradespeople.

We don't build to a catalog. Every project is measured, designed, and finished for the specific space and the specific person who will live with it. That means more time in the planning stage, more care at the workbench, and a final result that feels like it was always meant to be there.

Whether it's a kitchen cabinet that needs to fit an oddly angled wall, a bookshelf that transforms a blank corridor, or a deck that deserves better than big-box store lumber — we show up, we listen, and we deliver.
